Freelance or considering it?
A note on IR35
IR35 is still very much on the government agenda but now postponed until 2021.
We'll update you on this situation as it develops. When fully implemented, IR35 will affect the tax position of all self-employed, consultants and contractors.
You're in the right place! Working with a large number of freelancers and contractors, we have come to understand the different challenges of this kind of working. We appreciate the different approach to accounting systems and the need for streamlined, efficient processes that leave you with as much time as possible. Quite often our freelance clients just want the accounting side to take care of itself as they get on with the business of earning a living!
We can work with you on establishing the right cloud accounting systems whilst taking time to advise you on best practice. We act as your sounding board, chief adviser and friend. After all, freelancing can be isolating in terms of business direction and support.
If you have an existing accountant we are able to manage the transfer courtesy and efficiently
“As a small business owner I was concerned about managing VAT going digital, and my accountant at the time couldn’t advise me. I contacted EBS and their approach has been very supportive, patient and informative. The team has helped me to make my business fully compliant, providing software, training and telephone support. The whole process has been far easier than I expected, and the software is intuitive and supported with a mobile app. EBS has been a constant support and resource for business advice, ideal for a busy, small business.”
